Mid-day Report

Sooo. It has been a very long day, but everything has gone well. It's just been lots of waiting. Waiting for them to take him to pre-op. Waiting for them to prep him. Waiting to hear how things went. Waiting to see him in the ICU. Yuck. Anyway, now Ryan is in the IMC, which is less critical than the ICU, and things are going well. He is getting a CT scan and x-ray right now to make sure everything is in place and working. He is in a lot of pain--he says it feels like they removed a rib and drilled into his brain. Not fun! Hopefully it doesn't last long. I haven't talked to his surgeon yet, so I don't have any official report on how things went, but so far, everything looks good. I'll update you when I know anything else. More waiting...
